Comstock Park Body Shop uses only the most up-to-date products and techniques in repairing and refinishing your vehicle’s damaged areas. In order to preserve the high quality of the finish, it is strongly recommended that the following maintenance tips are followed:
- Wash vehicle in shaded area using only cool water and mild detergent, then dry.
- Newly painted areas should not be waxed for 90 days.
- Newly painted areas should not be wiped with a dry cloth.
- A commercial or pressure car wash should not be used for 90 days.
- Newly painted areas should not come in contact with chemicals such as washer fluid, coolant, oils, gasoline, or tree sap.
- Ice or snow should not be scraped from newly painted areas.
- Use only polishes specifically formulated for clear coat finishes.
