Auto Paint Repair at Comstock Park Body Shop
Sometimes damage to your car is inevitable. Whether it’s a daily trip down a dirt road, door dings or dents from the cars next to you, or damage from a recent accident, it can be hard to avoid. No matter the size of the job, the experienced auto body paint technicians at Comstock Park Body Shop will return your car to its original beauty.
We are a full-service auto body paint shop. Below are some of the paint repair services we offer our customers.
Scratch Removal
Though there are many methods of removing scratches from your car, our technicians use state-of-the-art technology to make sure the job is done right. We perfectly duplicate the paint color of your vehicle using the Sartorius computer-based paint mixing scale. We also use a BASF color match paint chip color deck to ensure a perfect color match. Using this process ensures a flawless scratch removal and paint repair.
Paint Touch Ups
The top layer of clear coat and factory paint make your car look beautiful, but damage from the sun, harsh weather, salt, gravel, and severe summer heat can fade paint integrity and destroy the clear coat finish. It’s easy to identify when damage begins; look for small bubbles forming atop your paint, dulling the finish and ultimately chipping away, giving your vehicle an unsightly appearance.
Our talented technicians carefully sand the clear coat finish and faded paint away. Then they restore your car’s color and the clear coat to bring back it’s natural beauty. This helps restore the vibrant color and shine for many years to come. We deliver a smooth finish and like-new appearance with our paint touch-up jobs.
If your vehicle isn’t missing any paint from the damage, we offer paintless dent repair services at Comstock Park Body Shop.
Caring for Your Newly Painted Vehicle
After the technicians at Comstock Park Body Shop finish restoring your car’s paint condition, here’s how to take care of it. These tips will make the new finish last longer and look better.
You should wash your vehicle in the shade. When washing your vehicle, only use water and mild detergent. You shouldn’t wax the affected areas for at least 90 days following the repair or restoration. Use a soft, dry cloth to dry your vehicle by hand.
